Vert Design acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we operate, specifically the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation in the region known as Sydney. We pay our respects to their elders - past, present and emerging - for they are the keepers of knowledge, culture, and tradition that have sustned this land for countless generations.
We recognize the deep connection these First Nations people share with their ancestral lands and commit ourselves to understanding, respecting, and contributing to their ongoing journey towards cultural preservation, reconciliation, and equity. Our operations are conducted in a spirit of collaboration and commitment towards acknowledging and valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strt Islander cultures, histories, languages, protocols, and leadership.
We strive to incorporate meaningful and respectful practices into our work processes and design considerations that embrace the rich heritage and knowledge base of Indigenous Australians. This includes fostering awareness, promoting cultural literacy amongst our team members, engaging with Indigenous communities on projects where appropriate, and supporting initiatives that contribute to their ongoing empowerment and cultural revival.
In doing so, we m not only to acknowledge but actively participate in creating a more inclusive society, one where the contributions of Australia's First Nations people are celebrated, respected, and preserved for future generations. Our commitment is anchored in mutual respect, cultural sensitivity, and active participation towards achieving meaningful reconciliation within our workplace environment and beyond.
We believe that by recognizing and valuing Indigenous Australian perspectives, we can contribute to fostering a society rich in diversity, where every voice counts, and the unique heritage of this land is cherished and protected.
