Protection Connection is your dedicated gateway to inclusive and accessible sexual health supplies at the University of Oregon. Our mission is to empower students with comprehensive resources and information that promote safe, enjoyable, and respectful sexuality while supporting their overall well-being.

Our Commitment

Protection Connection facilitate a positive approach to sex and relationships by providing easy access to essential items like condoms, lubricants, oral dams, and latex-free gloves. Our dedication goes beyond providing products; we strive to create an environment that fosters open discussions about sexual health, pleasure, boundaries, STIs, and contraceptive options.

Hot Spot Expansion

To make our offerings more convenient for students across campus, Protection Connection has established several Hot Spots in strategic locations including the University Health Services lobby near pharmacy services, EMU by Bartolotti's Pizza and Fishbowl area, Student Recreation Center close to Cycling Studio, and our core Duck Nest EMU 041. We're excited about upcoming Hot Spot installations in Lillis Hall and Knight Library as well.

Community Engagement

Protection Connection actively seeks out opportunities to engage with various student organizations by providing educational presentations on sexual health or setting up booths at events. To request our involvement, please reach out through our official outreach platform.

Sex Cafe

Join us for a bi-weekly Sex Cafe gathering where students can openly discuss and explore sexuality in a welcoming environment. Starting this fall term, these sessions will be held every even week, providing a space to share ideas, ask questions, and connect with peers. Follow @uo_ducknest on Instagram for detls.

For comprehensive sexual health services including HIVSTI testing, contraceptive advice, exams, and inclusive information about healthy sexuality, University Health Services offers extensive support through its dedicated webpage or by calling 541-346-2770.

Duck Nest as a Hub

Stop by the Duck Nest in EMU 041 for direct access to sexual health information and support, additional resources like appointment scheduling using your myUOHealth portal, and on-site assistance when you visit.
